I thought about walking away many times and just send 'care' from afar, but I hesitated many times. & suddenly I realized, maybe there were valuable happy moments too that I couldn't seem to remember as much because if there weren't, then why I hesitated? & maybe I couldn't seem to remember those valuable moments as much because I focused on the bad – perhaps too much? but still, maybe I need to be gone for a longer time. sometimes, maybe all we need is to take a break or a longer break and sit still until the water is clear from the mud by itself again. #thoughts@quietworld🍃

I pray that I'll heal without needing to hurt others back. I pray all of us who have been hurt deeply by others will heal from all the pain without needing to hurt others back. Because an eye for an eye, just makes the whole world blind. I don't want that temporary satisfaction of revenge. I just want healing. Everyone have problems, everyone have been through something that we know nothing about & I should remind myself frequently about that, so that I don't become bitter to people who hurt me; just know that they're probably fighting their own demons too – & all I gotta do is let go, take good care of myself by stepping several steps away or simply walk away from those people. and if those people are family, then that is more reason to be kind, isn't it? Be kind but be kind to yourself first of course. It isn't selfish. It is self-care. Selfish is prioritizing yourself in expense of someone else – but taking care of yourself first without taking advantage of anyone else; that is self-care and that is your utmost responsibility. There's so many things that I want to know now that I wish I wanted to know earlier. So many things in this world & life that I still do not know yet no amount of time is enough to learn all of them. & yes maybe we don't need to know everything, but with all the limited time I have in this life, I wanted to know as much as I can about things especially that are important to me generally & personally ~ & yep I love to write about the things I've read, about the things I've learned and even the thoughts in my head as I contemplate things; not to show that I know or that I'm right about all of them, but just to take note so that in the future I can look back & read my thoughts in the past – & sometimes it gave me an undescribable feelings; because as I read my thoughts in the past, it's like all the things that I've been through come flashing back in my head. & by doing so, that's how I realized how much I've changed from time to time. & I'm grateful; isn't it wonderful to be able to write and type em all when you can? To realize how much your perspective has changed, to remind you of who you were & how you used to think including what was important to you? COVID-19 // global economy recession // ASB Hi everyone, how are you guys doing? Regarding COVID-19, Let's do whatever we can do to fight it and avoid doing whatever things that could continually spread it; Pray, stay at home, practice good hygiene and also.., be prepared for global economy recession.. Okay, this post is not intended to scare people, but just as reminder & to create awareness so that we can be wisely prepared for what's going to come. First of all, I'm so grateful for our new Malaysian Prime Minister & the government for the actions & decisions they made not only in order to fight COVID-19 by giving free test & screening as well as treatment to COVID-19 patients, implementing MCO & disinfection of places throughout the whole country, but also to take care of our welfare during this MCO by cutting half of the salary of all ministers including our Prime Minister himself for two months (first time in history of Malaysia) to contribute to COVID19 fund which then enable all of us to be given incentives accordingly with nobody left behind; plus help us be prepared with global economy recession;(why do you think we are given moratorium automatically for 6 months when the MCO lasts only for 28 days? Yes, for us to be prepared for global economy recession. This isn't for us to be blindly happy & go shopping since we have been given 6 months moratorium, but be grateful & do not waste this opportunity to save, save and save more!). Anyway, you see, this COVID-19 is affecting people globally to the point we have Movement Control Order (MCO) and for some countries; a total lockdown – this will affect global economy trades and idk but personally (since I'm not an expert in economy, I'm gonna remind you that this is my personal view – based on logic and common sense of course) that even the well-known lowest risk investment in Malaysia; ASB unit trust dividends & bonus will DEFINITELY be affected in this year 2020 too, hopefully (crossing my finger) not worse than 2019. Last year's (2019) is ASB's lowest dividend ever since ASB unit trust is launched in 1990. Some of you may already know the reasons why; poor local stock market performance which could possibly make ASB's return to negative if not because of ASB's foreign investment; yes, we're lucky that ASB invested in foreign investment too which is 22% of its portfolio and it is able to help ASB distribute a total dividend & bonus of 5.5%, at least. (Starting 2020, ASB is going to increase foreign investment to 30% as one of their five-year strategic plan) What we've touched just now was regarding poor local stock market performance and we depended on foreign investment to ensure that we still get positive return of our investment in ASB unit trust.. & think about now; with MCO & Lockdown Order here and there not only in Malaysia but globally. Hmm.. 🤔 Well, there's still a light though because Malaysia's biggest trading partner is China and China is the country who have successfully overcame COVID-19 but that doesn't mean that we're totally spared from experiencing this global economy recession, because both Malaysia and China are interdependent with other countries' trade as well. So, yeah... I've talked a lot now so yes please, be ready. Save up more. Don't see the moratorium as an opportunity for you to spend more on trivial stuffs but it is an opportunity for you to save up more given that you do not need to pay your house and car loan for 6 consecutive months starting April to September! Our government has opened the way, you need to take it to help yourself. Of course, we hope that everything will turn out to be okay, but there's no harm to be well-prepared for the worst. #thoughts@quietworld🍃

But of course, to buy a house sold by housing companies is very expensive because there's a lot of things that the company needs to pay besides the resources and workers' salary. In addition, the company aims for profit. So, the houses are expensive! No housing company gonna sell houses with exactly the total amount of cost needed to build it. That's fine, because that's how they earn money, that's how they earn for their living. But that's not the thing that I want to point here, not just by simply saying that it is expensive, but I want to show exactly how expensive is expensive. Okay, let's say the price of the house they sell is RM250k, that's the total amount of money you pay to the housing company, but the total money you're actually paying is more than that (unless you're extremely rich that you can pay it in cash without needing to loan from the bank) because remember, you need to pay interest to the bank. So, the total amount you actually need to pay for the a RM250k house can be up to ±RM466k. Your monthly instalment for the house would be ±RM1348 excluding maintenance fees. (note: calculated using Financial Calculator from Playstore, given that the loan amount is RM250k with 4.7% interest rate, 30years tenure) Since the loan amount is big, the total amount of interest by the end of the day is also big! Keep that in mind. Oh yeah, remember that furnitures aren't included too so you still need to save up more to buy those necessities. So, this is why it is actually much cheaper if you build your own house, given that you have the freedom to design it, you can decide how big or small you want it and you can actually start small and later expand it when you have more money. Of course, it will take a long time to save up unless you earn a lot or you're able to save a lot in a month because your lifestyle is extremely minimal. So, you might need to take a loan too, but you don't need to loan as much as RM250k to build a house unless you wanted to build a mansion. You can loan RM70k or even less depending on the house you intend to build. Or you could even loan RM100k and that can be more than enough to build a decent and comfortable house. & given you loan RM100k with 4.7% interest rate for a 30 years tenure, the amount of money you need to pay per month is only RM518.64 🤗 Total payment would be ±RM188k. So yeah, compare them both and what's your choice?
