mount -t tmpfs -o size=5G tmpfs /mnt/ram
Single File Size: 30.0Gb
ssd > ssd: 0:00:12.850 / 2.3Gb/s
sdd > ram: 0:00:06.453 / 4.6Gb/s
ram > ram: 0:00:06.995 / 4.3Gb/s
ram > sdd: 0:00:06.217 / 4.8Gb/s
Dir size: 32.7Gb, File count: 11127
ssd > ssd: 0:00:15.063 / 2.2Gb/s
sdd > ram: 0:00:08.486 / 3.9Gb/s
ram > ram: 0:00:08.032 / 4.1Gb/s
ram > sdd: 0:00:07.026 / 4.7Gb/s

🌎 In the wetlands of South America, the capybara reigns as the world’s largest rodent, reaching up to 66 kilograms. These social giants live in family groups, communicate with barks and whistles, and spend hours swimming—webbed feet make them graceful in water and capable of escaping predators with ease. ✨

🌎 The Okavango Delta in Botswana transforms each year from dry savanna to a maze of wetlands due to annual flooding, but modern irrigation and water extraction upstream have reduced natural flows. This human impact threatens a UNESCO World Heritage site that supports over 400 bird species and large populations of elephants and hippos. ✨

🌎 The Florida Everglades, once a vast slow-moving river system, has been dramatically altered by canals, levees, and drainage for agriculture and cities. Over 50% of the original wetlands have been lost since the early 20th century, reducing habitat for species like the Florida panther and snail kite. ✨
