Функция asyncio.wait() это еще один способ вызвать множество асинхронных задач. Она работает в нескольких режимах. 1. Самый простой - ждем завершения всех задач async def main(): tasks = [asyncio.create_task(do_it(i)) for i in range(10)] done, pending = await asyncio.wait( tasks, return_when=asyncio.ALL_COMPLETED ) for task in done: try: print(task.result()) except Exception as e: print(e) Очень похоже на gather, но работает не так. ▫️возвращает не результаты, а два сета с объектами Task у которых можно забрать результат через task.result() если они в списке done ▫️не гарантирует порядок результатов так как оба объекта это set ▫️не выбрасывает исключение когда оно появляется, а сохраняет его в Task. Исключение появится когда попробуете забрать резултьтат. 2. Ждем завершения первой задачи, даже если там ошибка. async def main(): tasks = [asyncio.create_task(do_it(i)) for i in range(3)] done, pending = await asyncio.wait( tasks, return_when=asyncio.FIRST_COMPLETED ) # в done может быть несколько задач! for task in done: try: print(task.result()) except Exception as e: print(f"Fail: {e}") # Оставшиеся задачи в pending, как правило, нужно отменить, иначе они будут продолжать работать for task in pending: task.cancel() В сете done будут таски которые успели завершится, причем как успешно так и нет. 3. До первой ошибки. Тоже самое, но с аргументом FIRST_EXCEPTION done, pending = await asyncio.wait( tasks, return_when=asyncio.FIRST_EXCEPTION ) Функция завершается как только первая задача упадет с ошибкой. Учтите, что в любом случае done вы можете обранужить несколько задач, как с ошибками так и успешные. ↗️ Полный листинг примеров здесь #async

Apperently also @anonymize_bot is affected. Currently looking into the issue. Update: It should now be back and running, but telegram reports about two thousand updates being still unprocessed, but that is decreasing. It will recover soon, bear with me, it works as fast as telegram allows it to. Update: @anonymize_bot It is now back to normal. #Anonymize#downtime'

Expected downtime: Today, 13:00 UTC. Duration 1h. Delayed, see post below. Because my current server isn't powerful enough, especially regarding Disk IO speed, I will move part of the infrastructure to a new server with SSD storage. This means I have to take down the databases, and copy them over. I'll try to keep the bots running which doesn't need a database, like @ponbot, @anonymize_bot, @HeyAdminBot, @moustache_bot, etc. #expected_downtime#downtime

Maintenance: Moving @BanWarnBot to the new server. Okey going through the same procedure for @BanWarnBot now, hopefully without the database breaking this time. Turning the bot off for moving the database, so any /warns send in the meantime shouldn't get lost. As soon as it's on the new server it should pick up those, and carry out the needed actions. I'll take @BanWarnBot down in 10 minutes. Other bots should not be affected. #maintenance#downtime#BanWarnBot

If you docker refuses to start and sudo service docker status is showing logs like this: Feb 24 01:30:06 hostname dockerd[19544]: time="2019-02-24T01:30:06.718823877+01:00" level=error msg="stream copy error: reading from a closed fifo" It might be that /var/run/docker.sock is a mount in one of your containers. Therefore if that doesn't exist - and only shortly - it will be created as a folder, thus making it impossible for docker to start. Fix it with sudo rmdir /var/run/docker.sock, and sudo service docker start. #TechnicalDetails#downtime#in_progress
