Remember how they disrespected you when your heart was pure. People will take advantage of your kindness and then act like you were the problem. They’ll forget your loyalty, your support, your quiet sacrifices but never forget how quick they were to doubt you, dismiss you, or treat you like you were replaceable. One day, they’ll realize what it meant to have someone with a genuine heart in their life. One day, they’ll understand the value of the energy you brought.
