Most freelancers don’t have a job problem; they have a proposal problem. They write long, generic messages. They copy-paste the same cover letter for every job. They still start their cover letters with: “I am excited to apply for the position of…” They forget this simple truth: You're talking to a human. Your proposal is your first impression.
