Сходили на днях с другом на территорию Пулковской Обсерватории. Очень грустно было зайти в заброшенную часть, где ржавеют останки радиотелескопа и другого оборудования. Прямо почувствовали, как когда-то всё это было новое, блестело, двигалось, механизмы работали, зубчатые колеса вращались, тросы тянули, приборы снимали показания. А теперь вот так.
На входе нет никаких запрещающих табличек или заборов, нас никто не останавливал. Как я понимаю, это уже почти официально музейные экспонаты.
Дрон, кстати, не взлетает, не даёт даже винты запустить — территория попадает в охранную зону аэропорта. Разве что на каком-то самосборном можно там летать, но у нас такого не было.

🌧Heavy rain caused a bridge on Bukit to collapse
📍 Eyewitnesses report the collapse of a bridge on the Alas Arum highway near the popular beaches of Melasti, Green Bowl and Pandawa. It happened the previous day due to heavy rains that have been falling on the island for the past few days.
🚗 A detour is possible via the Dharmavangsa road.

The Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone is expected to become one of Bali's new economic centers.
📰Bali Turtle Island Development, which manages the Kura-kura Bali Special Economic Zone on Serangan (Turtle Island), will begin construction of an international marina in April 2025. Once completed, the small-ship marina will be able to accommodate 120 to 140 luxury yachts at a time.
ℹ️ It will be the first international marina and will be an integrated hub with The Grand Outlet Bali shopping center, UID Lodge hotel complex, International Mangrove Research Center, as well as hotels and villas.

🌋Rinjani Volcano climbing reopened, 700 tourists came at once
📰 After three months of closure, Rinjani National Park in neighboring Lombok has lifted the ban on climbing the peak. There are several routes on the mountain: Aik Berik, Timbanuh, Sembalu, Torean and Tete Batu. More than 700 people have already climbed them during the first days after the opening.
ℹ️ The climb to the summit has been closed since the beginning of 2025 due to the change of seasons and deteriorating weather conditions. The closure is usually held at the beginning of each year. This gives Mount Rinjani time to recover and protects climbers from risks.
