🇷🇺🇸🇦📞On February 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a telephone conversation. The Ministers held an in-depth discussion on prospects for further strengthening the multifaceted Russia-Saudi Arabia partnership. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the high level of political dialogue between Moscow and Riyadh, as well as stepping up joint efforts to expand trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Preparations for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia (February 19, 1926) were also reviewed. The Sides exchanged views on a range of pressing international and regional issues, focusing in particular on the Israeli-Palestinian settlement, the situation in Iran and developments in Yemen. They underscored the need for consolidated international efforts to reduce military and political tensions and prevent further escalation in the Middle East. #RussiaSaudiArabia
