💩Social Media Users Notice Spam Increase
With ongoing discussions about #SocialMedia’s role in the spread of fake news and hate speech, user awareness about the responsibility of tech giants to manage these problems also rise.
Even though #Facebook & #Twitter recently introduced steps to keep their platforms clean, 47% of respondents of a survey conducted by Hubspot perceived their social media feeds to be more spam-loaded in recent months.
This might be due to Facebook’s definition of spam which reads a bit vaguely and does not include for instance fake news. However, 79% of all internet users polled agree that fake news counts as spam.

Translation of the #BTS live on Weverse ⭐️
🐱 Didn't we last see them three years ago? At the Busan concert?
🐨 2! 3! Hello, we're
🐨🐿🐹🐰🐻🐱🐥 BTS!
🐥 We're back, everyone!
🐥 While we were away, you really did a great job with your concerts *thumbs up*.
🐿️ Oh, thank you!
🐹 Thanks for coming to the concert.
🐱 Watching Seokjin-hyung's concert and wow.
🐥 It was so much fun!
🐥 It was a concert only a hyung could do.
🐨 What shocked me the most was when he said, "I practiced a lot, and I'm going to show you," and then said, "Challenge!" It's a concert. Why does he say "challenge"?
🐹 I almost died laughing when I said that.
🐹 Let's talk about our plans.

📈Facebook Keeps On Growing
Little more than 15 years ago, on February 4, 2004, 19-year old Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg, along with some of his classmates, launched a little website called Thefacebook.
Confined to the Harvard campus at first, after changing its name to just "Facebook" in 2005, the social network was opened to the general public in the fall of 2006, marking the start of one of the most remarkable growth stories in corporate history.
Within three years, the social network added 350 million users and in the summer of 2012 it became the first online service of its kind to reach 1 billion monthly active users. Until today, despite being shrouded in controversy over its (mis)handling of user privacy, #Facebook just keeps on growing. In the past quarter alone, Facebook added 39 million monthly active users, bringing its total user base to an astonishing 2.41 billion.
