Uganda lacks the infrastructure to sell electricity Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited expressed concern about the lack of the necessary supporting infrastructure necessary for cross-border electricity trade. Uganda is going to enter the cross-border market by November 2025. The country plans to export electricity to the DRC, Tanzania, South Sudan and Rwanda. At the moment, 97% of electricity in this African country is produced from renewable sources, which indicates an excess of it. #Africa#Uganda#energy#sale
