🚨PERMIT DENIED🚨 In a victory for the people of Cleveland and Ohio, the permit for the Slavic Village Data Center has been denied by the City of Cleveland. This is no doubt due to the community lashback against this egregious project. But our work is not done because one permit has been denied - they must ALL be denied. The townhall planned for the 23rd is STILL ON, but we will be moving towards the broader goal: ban hyperscale data centers in our city. More information tomorrow. 🔗Follow the campaign 📝Get involved A Hyperscale AI Data Center permit has been submitted by Lakeland Equity Group for a 35 acre plot in Slavic Village. They hope to rush the permit and get city approval before the people have any say on the 1.6 Billion dollar project. Hyperscale Data Centers only employ a small handful of workers, dramatically increase our utility costs, and contribute to pollution in our city and neighborhoods, all so billion-dollar Silicon Valley companies can fill their pockets. This projext does not serve the people of Slavic Village or greater Cleveland! We are calling on all residents to voice their opposition at a townhall on Saturday, May 23, at 4 PM hosted at the Community of Faith Assembly (5949 Engel Ave, Cleveland, OH) NO SLAVIC VILLAGE DATA CENTER!

All across the country, working people will flood into the streets to revive the tradition of May Day - international workers Day. ⚠️EMERGENCY DEMONSTRATION WEDNESDAY ⚠️ TRUMP - ICE OUT OF OUR AIRPORTS NOW Yesterday, a reported 120 ICE Agents were mobilized to Cleveland-Hopkins international airport by Trump to cover-up their failure to pay TSA workers. ICE Agents - known killers - are now roaming the airports while TSA workers still go unpaid and security lines are piling up for travellers. ICE Agents will not help the efficiency of our airports, and only serve to make yet another place unsafe for working people. Join us at the West Park Redline station WEDNESDAY MARCH 25TH AT 6 PM to take the redline to the airport and protest against this ridiculous show of force by the Trump administration.
