День примирения – государственный праздник в ЮАР, отмечаемый ежегодно 16 декабря. Праздник был принят в 1995 году после окончания апартеида с целью способствовать примирению и национальному единству страны. Празднование Дня примирения может проходить в форме воспоминаний о прошлом, признания заслуг ветеранов, маршей и других мероприятий. The holiday came into effect in 1995 after the end of apartheid, with the intention to foster reconciliation and national unity for the country.
