The 1921 Baltimore Catechism lists the following as occasions of sin: 1. Bad company (whether they be bad in themselves or bad only while in our company, in which case we become occasions of sin for them) 2. Liquor saloons 3. Low theaters 4. Indecent dances 5. Indecent entertainments 6. Indecent amusements 7. Indecent exhibitions 8. All immoral resorts of any kind (whether we sin in them or not) 9. All bad books 10. Indecent pictures 11. Indecent songs 12. Indecent jokes And any such like even when tolerated by public opinion and found in public places.
