SAINTS MARCELLINUS, PETER AND ERASMUS BISHOP, MARTYRS The Roman Church celebrates today three Champions of Christ who obtained the palm of victory in the last great persecution before the triumph and freedom of the Church: Marcellinus, Peter and Erasmus. The exorcist Peter, put in prison under the emperor Diocletian, by the judge Serenus in Rome for having confessed the Christian faith, delivered from the devil, who tormented her, Paulina, daughter of Artemis, director of the prison.
