SAINT VERONICA GIULIANI, VIRGIN Veronica Giuliani, born Orsola, was born on the 27th of December 1660 in Mercatello sul Metauro, in the Duchy of Urbino, the last daughter of Francesco Giuliani and Benedetta Mancini. At the age of five months she began to walk alone to go and venerate a picture of the Most Holy Trinity; at seven months she admonished a not very honest shopkeeper: «Do justice, that God sees you». From the age of two she began to enjoy visions of Jesus and Mary.
