There is a severe cognitive dissonance or a willful rebelliousness in the hearts of every modernist Catholic. Even when you spell out the infallible dogma of EENS and what it actually means they still don't understand that their leaders reject it completely and are therefore not Catholic. In addition they reject the literal resurrection of Christ as stated by Benedict here. Novus Ordo: We're Catholic too! Real Catholic: Define Catholic Novus Ordo: Whoever identifies as Catholic is Catholic. Real Catholic: But what is that? Novus Ordo: What is what? Real Catholic: How do you define Catholic? Novus Ordo: It's not one thing. It's a constellation honey. Real Catholic: Are Muslims, Jews & atheists going to hell? Novus Ordo: Pope John Paul ll said all mankind is saved. Real Catholic: That's not what the Church taught for 2000 years NO: But he's the Pope. You have to obey him if you want to be Catholic Real Catholic: But JP2 said non Catholics are saved too. So why be Catholic? NO: Schismatic!
