If this is true as they say it is, this is yet more evidence that the Novus Ordo Sect is not Catholic and doesn't care about Catholic doctrine. This post is not about WWII historiography, but doctrine. As sad as the death of any child always is, one cannot beatify an unborn, and therefore unbaptized, child. Unbaptized children cannot go to Heaven because, being unbaptized, they do not possess sanctifying grace, and are therefore unable to see the Beatific Vision. Whilst beatifications are not infallible, if this were to be followed by a 'canonization', it would be yet another concrete proof that the NO Sect is not the Catholic Church and that the See of Peter is vacant.
