The Jews have long lost the distinction of being the Chosen Race of God when they rejected Jesus Christ and remained obstinate in their observance of the Mosaic Law which has been abrogated by the coming of Christ and can no longer be observed without incurring sin after the promulgation of the Gospel. The New Israel spoken of in Holy Scriptures refers exclusively to the elect of baptized Catholics, since outside of the Catholic Church there is absolutely NO salvation.
