Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais has died. Do say a prayer for the repose of his soul. He was known as the most solid of the SSPX's three remaining bishops. Everyone said he was sympathetic to Bp Williamson in his rejection of the SSPX's six sell-out points in 2012, albeit he nevertheless remained with the SSPX. I had even heard rumours he was privately a sedevacantist. Whatever the truth of that, he has a soul that probably needs prayers. Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine, Et lux perpetua luceat ei, Requiescat in pace. Amen.
