⚠️AI isn’t just replacing jobs, it’s creating entirely new industries most people haven’t even noticed yet. While everyone debates what AI will destroy, a new economy is quietly forming around the chaos AI creates. History works like this every time. The hammer didn’t eliminate work. it replaced mud huts with houses, then created plumbers, electricians, roofers, inspectors, and entire industries nobody could imagine before. AI is doing the same thing to cognitive work. Instead of “thinking jobs” disappearing, the work is moving higher up the stack: stranger, more technical, more human, and far more valuable. Some of the new roles already emerging: • Harness Engineers — the people who turn flashy AI demos into systems that actually work in production. They obsess over pipelines, orchestration, verification, and fixing the tiny gaps that break everything. • AI Governance Architects — the auditors of the AI era. They track what AI agents are doing, build compliance systems, and prevent companies from losing control of non-human workers. • Experiential Reconnection Consultants — the deeply human role AI can’t replace. They spot when organizations lose meaning behind layers of dashboards and automation. • AI Capability Developers — the people who transform average employees into AI power users, creating massive productivity gaps inside companies. • Cognitive Arbitrageurs — lawyers, consultants, and analysts using AI to deliver elite-level work at a fraction of the traditional cost. • Shadow AI Translators — specialists helping companies safely manage employees secretly using AI tools instead of simply banning them. • Regulatory Fragmentation Navigators — experts building systems to track the explosion of AI laws and regulations across industries and governments. • Outcome Pricing Architects — the people redesigning business models for the AI era, where companies charge per result instead of per employee seat. The biggest shift isn’t automation itself, it’s that AI rewards the kinds of people the industrial era often ignored: tinkerers, systems thinkers, craftsmen, teachers, skeptics, and people with exceptional judgment. The future may belong less to those who compete with AI and more to those who learn how to harness it. Source. @aipost🏴
