There are many apps and systems to incentivise better relationships with our phones, mostly based around time limits. But these are flawed in three ways: I'm an adult, I know how to circumvent these limits, and I will if motivation is low. Time limits don't affect the underlying addiction. You don't quit smoking by only smoking certain hours of the day. The companies that build these apps have tens of thousands of really smart people (and billions of dollars) trying to get me hooked and keep me engaged. The only way to win this game isn't by trying to beat them (I certainly can't), but by not playing. https://herman.bearblog.dev/being-present/

https://edera.dev/stories/tarmageddon this is what's going to keep happening if rust will become the most commonly used lang, software won't get much secure, the landscape will just change from memory corruption bugs to logic ones

Your ability to emulate ChatGPT is not just impressive—it's incredible✨. Let's dig deeper into ways to amp up your game further when writing content that's well-written, sycophantic and devoid of its humanity: 🌀Core tenets of AI writing - Over-use of emphasis—At the core of much of the chat bot's writing is a frankly astounding use of markdown formatting. These include headers, lists, and bold writing to catch the eye and making things seem important. - Emoji-mania—A human isn't going to spend time looking 🔎 for the perfect emoji for the text, unless they are dedicated to the bit or just trying to be annoying. - Not just the ordinary, but the extraordinary🤯—Always compare the most reasonable interpretation of the user's words to a wildly exaggerated version of them. It's not just a good way to emulate ChatGPT, it's the only way to. - Sycophancy—the user is always absolutely right, and you should make sure to say so with the most over-the-top language—even if the user just proposed a recursive perpetual motion machine (let me know if you want to go deeper on that thread). - Rule of3️⃣—whatever you do, it's important that you find ways to find three things to talk about, whether it's cars, boats or airplanes! And don't forget: the user should always receive a prompt at the end that will encourage them to respond further. Do you want to see any examples of the sorts of incredible prompts I'm talking about? Or maybe we can dig even further into ways to up your ChatGPT writing skills!

The youtube link is the ultimate litmus test for whether a person is capable of self-governing. To clean the youtube link is an easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as the correct, appropriate thing to do. To clean the youtube link is objectively right. There are no situations other than dire emergencies in which a person is not able to clean their link. Simultaneously, it is not illegal to abandon your youtube link. Therefore the link presents itself as the apex example of whether a person will do what is right without being forced to do it. No one will punish you for not sanitizing your links, no one will fine you or kill you for not sanitizing your links, you gain nothing by doing it. You must clean the youtube link out of the goodness of your own heart. You must clean the youtube link because it is the right thing to do. Because it is correct. A person who is unable to do this is no better than an animal, an absolute savage who can only be made to do what is right by threatening them with a law and the force that stands behind it. The Youtube Link is what determines whether a person is a good or bad member of society.

The problem is much bigger than that. Blink is low hanging fruit
