I wonder if it will become widespread to call ALL generative ai "LLMs"; in a group I'm in I've seen one person repeatedly and chronically call diffusion models LLMs, and now a second one is doing it. Don't ask me how the topic keeps coming up. Somehow it's irritating - I guess because it's a failure to Know Thy Enemy? (Or friend?) Or maybe just because it seems like a simple thing. But the fact that 2 people are now doing it makes me wonder if the term LLM is getting repurposed by Joe Sixpack to mean ALL ai models/services now 🤔
