🇺🇲⚓⚡🇮🇷 Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine has stated that the US strategy to interdict Iran linked shipping will expand beyond the vicinity of Iran and into the Indo-Pacific with a focus on the Strait of Malacca. The US navy will hunt down merchant ships across the vast maritime zones of the Pacific in an effort to choke off Iranian trade which has now been globalized. This explains the recent cooperation between Washington and Jakarta where Indonesia and the US have engaged in closer ties 🇮🇩🤝🇺🇲 🇮🇷 The strait of Hormuz, important as it is, hosts annual traffic of 20,000 merchant vessels, however the Malacca strait sees 90,000!
