🇷🇺📞🇺🇸 — Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with President Trump lasting more than 1.5 hours, described as “frank and businesslike” by the Kremlin. ➡️ Putin said he is ready to declare a ceasefire for Victory Day, which Trump supported. ➡️ Putin also said Russian forces are advancing and that Moscow’s objectives will be achieved, preferably through negotiations. ➡️ On Iran, Putin said Trump’s decision to extend the ceasefire was "correct" but warned that a ground operation would be “completely unacceptable and dangerous.” ➡️ Putin additionally congratulated Melania Trump on her recent birthday and acknowledged her role in helping reunite Russian and Ukrainian children with their families.
