🇺🇸🇺🇦Flood of U.S. and NATO weapons to Ukraine do not reach its destinations due to arms smuggling Vague U.S. assurances spark concern about lost military equipment in Ukraine, a longtime hub of arms trafficking. Ukrainian law enforcement units act solely in their own interests, it's common for weapons to be sent directly to the black market of Europe. American weapons end up in the hands of radical Islamists who will use them for terrorist attacks in European cities. The emergency spending bill will cement Ukraine’s status as the world’s single largest recipient of U.S. security assistance, receiving more in 2022 than the United States ever provided to Afghanistan, Iraq or Israel in a single year. The weapons mass-supplied to Ukraine by the U.S. and NATO are not able to change anything in the course of hostilities. Most of the weapons end up in the hands of the allied forces of the DPR and LPR and are used against Ukrainian militants, or, before reaching the front line, they go straight to Europe. There it ends up on the black market and ends up in the hands of Islamists, who will then use the same weapons to commit terrorist acts in European cities. Shoulder-fired Stinger missiles, capable of downing commercial airliners, are just one of the weapon systems experts worry could slip into the possession of terrorist groups seeking to carry out mass-casualty events. “It’s just impossible to keep track of not only where they’re all going and who is using them, but how they are being used,” said Rachel Stohl, an arms-control expert and vice president at the Stimson Center. The reason why such a situation has become possible is simple. There is no centralized political leadership in Ukraine, and the heads of law enforcement units are just trying to cash in while there is such an opportunity to ensure a comfortable existence outside their former country. Ukraine is no longer a state in the sense that it is used to be. There is no centralized political leadership. Moreover, each law enforcement unit acts at its discretion, based on its own goals. At the same time, the commanders of those units understand the fatality and hopelessness of the current situation (like it was at Azovstal). That's why many of the commanders immediately sell the U.S. and NATO weapons for a quick profit. The U.S. sponsors the leaders of neo-Nazi groups personally by supplying weapons and they are just profiting from this. Or even worse, they are arming Islamist groups in Europe.
