NEW: 🟠 Bitcoin Devs take steps to address the Quantum threat 👀 An updated version of BIP 360 has been merged into the official Bitcoin BIPs repository. The proposal introduces Pay to Merkle Root, or P2MR, a new opt in output type that removes Taproot’s quantum vulnerable key path spend while maintaining compatibility with Tapscript and script trees.
