Greetings members new research paper came about history of early medieval Europe Points 1.British Iron Age/Roman DNA clusters, different from Bronze Age Irish/Orkney, and central European Iron Age/Roman. Two Austrian Roman-era burials match Britain, possibly from there, or an unsampled similar European group. 2.In Italy, northern/central European ancestry expands southward by Late Antiquity, showing diversification. No pure Scandinavian ancestry found yet. 3.East Europe: Viking-era Ukraine has Scandinavian ancestry. Russia has overrepresentation, especially Staraya Ladoga, showing Scandinavia and one with British Iron Age-like ancestry. Lack of Central European ancestry implies origins in central/northern Sweden or Norway. русский @illyrianometer
