Rinat Fakhretdinov is a UFC fighter of Tatar origin. He is the owner of the longest winning streak in the UFC. By origin, Rinat is a Mishar Tatar from the village of Belozerye in the Republic of Mordovia. The Tatar DNA project conducted a 37-marker DNA test for the Y-chromosomal haplogroup of Rinat. He was a carrier of haplogroup R1a-L1029, which is most common in Germany and Poland. Among the ancient cultures, its branch is represented in the Latin and Velbar cultures.
