The Netherlands has ordered nine new 155mm DITA 155mm wheeled SAU's from the Czech Republic for transfer to Ukraine. This is stated on the website of the Dutch Defence Ministry. The commander of the country's armed forces, General Onno Eichelsheim, recently visited the Czech Republic for an inspection. The DITA howitzer was developed on the basis of the Tatra T815 8x8 chassis using the cab from the Dana M2 SAU. The main innovation is a new uninhabited artillery module with high autonomy of operations - the DITA requires only two crew members in the cab to fire. Access to discussion Subscribe to the channel
