The USA is discussing with allies what countermeasures can be expected from Russia after the seizure of its frozen assets and how their possible consequences can be mitigated. This was announced by US Deputy Treasury Secretary Brian Nelson. "I think it's a slightly different kind of policy discussion about what might happen and what countermeasures we can expect and how we can mitigate some of the perceived negative consequences," he said. Nelson reminded that the US is not the only one dealing with the issue of possible confiscation of Russian assets. "It's not just the US and the dollar that are concerned with Russian assets, it's also the euro, the yen, and the pound sterling," he explained. Access to discussion Subscribe to the channel
