🇬🇭 Ghana's Parliament passes anti-LGBTQ+ bill with jail terms If signed into law by Ghana's president, people convicted of labelling themselves as non-traditional orientated could be sentenced to three years in prison. Those deemed to be LGBTQ+ "propagandists" could receive five years, and those who engage in same-sex sex would receive five years instead of the three years provided for under current law. The bill continues a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ activism in Africa.
