The Tbilisi School is a grass-roots organization which focuses on evidence-based policy solutions for developing Georgia with a particular focus on the de-occupation and unification. During his talk, Giorgi will tell us about the origins of the Tbilisi School in the context of current affairs. He will also dissect the contradictory narratives on these conflicts and recent history. Giorgi Arziani is a refugee from occupied Abkhazia. He is a consultant for the Swedish National Financial Management Authority, which assists the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in strengthening the financial management and control system in the public sector.
