1941 - British Matilda tanks are loaded onto a ship for transportation to the Soviet Union at the port of Liverpool. On October 13, the convoy's ships set sail for the USSR, and on October 30, they delivered the equipment to the harbor of Arkhangelsk. One of the first British convoys of Lend-Lease to the Soviet Union. Some 40% of the tanks defending Moscow from the Nazi invasion in December 1941 were British. 2023 - The first shipment of Bradley armoured fighting vehicles from the US port of North Charleston is being loaded onto a ship for delivery to Ukraine.
