History Matters 1944 — The worst attack on Britain came on November 25, when a German V2 rocket bomb made a direct hit on a crowded Woolworths store in South London, killing 168 and razing the building to the ground. The V2 rocket was 14 metres high and carried a 910 kg of explosives. 2022 — The Russian military forces hit with a Kh-22 cruise missile Kremenchuk shopping mall in Poltava region on June 27, killed at least 20 civilians; dozens more are still unaccounted for.
