"In the matter of truth Irritation of the people is called insecurity Irritation of the soul is called Conflict" Prince Prince is arguing here that when we get irritated from people because of them saying truth it is just a existential void and our insecurities that we don't want to accept so we hide it as irritation And when it comes to saying truths about ourselves when our soul is irritated it is not because of anything else but ourselves We feel wasting our potential but we lack to take steps We know what we should do but we don't because we've been lying to ourself the whole time People say peace comes from God and it is true but most people use it as a hideout for the void in their life Another philosophy similar to this by prince is "If you try to escape instead of fixing the roots the thing you escaped will find u in a diffrent form" The biggest lies are the one we say to ourselves I would like to end this with the beautiful philosophy of Valery Legasov "We are so focused on our search for truth We fail to considee how few actually wants us to find it But it's always there whether we see it or not Whether we choose to or not The truth doesn't care about our needs or wants It doesn't care about our governments Our ideologies our religions It will lie in wait for all time and this, at last, is the gift of Chernobyl Where i once would hear the cost of truth, Now i ask myself, What is the cost of lies.?"
