As my humble self was walking alongside the walls, Trembling from a shiver, although it wasn't even cold, Scared from a sound, although silence submerged the essence of reality, Tired of what to do and what not to do, although it's a responsibility, But aren't all humans like that? Maybe they are, maybe they're not. But then, under a bush, my eyes met a kitty, Reaching for its mother on top of a wall, Trying with all of the might it held, But to no avail, As it screamed and cried for clarity, It was met with silent stares, Silent scary almost unrecognisable stares, For it was but the one being it ever trusted in, Yet it was met with none other than disappointment. As I stare at that fragile being, I whisper to it in my thoughts, There will always be a way, Even though it might hurt, But you don't have to turn your whole self around for such an event, For you are a grater being, For you are deserving of love, For you will be met by it, I say as it walked away, Scared to cause more hurt for doing what it most needed, Feeling. -MDVA
