The use of time is the currency of our intentions. What we intend to do, feel, or create more of, we naturally invest more time in. We withdraw from anything that is of lesser interest by shelling out less of our time for it. Our perception of time is determined by only a few factors: what we dedicate our energy to and our willingness to do it. Boredom is a hint we haven’t been investing our time wisely. Exhaustion is a sign our intentions overpower our capabilities and unrealistic standards are confining our use of time. Joy is an indicator we have found a purposeful way of using time to fuel our truest intentions. Time shall always serve us what we pour into it. At the quantum level, there is no time at all. Our thinking minds have assigned this relativistic point of reference to eternal flow that exists with or without our presence. Change proves the illusion of time, but since we seek definiteness, we have chosen to see the passing of time as change itself. The only definites in our lives are the things we have made definite for ourselves. How we perceive time and our role in creating the most of it is a major one. When we seek distractions, excuses, or reasons not to invest time in a certain endeavor, it’s TIME to realign. Infuse energy in something worth your time by discovering who or what fulfills your soul and makes the minutes of fleeting connection dissolve into boundless joy. May we all see time as a reflection of our freedom to shape the world into whatever we fit into the hourglass of our minds.
