According to the indictment, Cohen communicated with an Iranian intelligence agent via Telegram beginning last December, sharing sensitive information about the Iron Dome system, locations of Israeli Air Force bases and Iron Dome batteries, as well as personal details and contact information of several individuals. These actions were taken at the agent's request, with the goal of assessing the possibility of recruiting them to cooperate with Iranian intelligence. But an operation to take over Kharg Island could put U.S. troops more directly in the line of fire. Thus, such an operation would only be launched after the U.S. military further degrades Iran's military capacity around the Strait of Hormuz. Such an operation, if approved, would also require more troops. Three different Marine units are on their way to the region. 🚢Crews at risk in the Gulf Just heard from a crewmember on one of the 3,200 ships stuck in the Persian Gulf. A ship called the local port authority requested permission to dock as they had run out of water. They were denied permission!
