1978, before Imam Khomeini and before Hezbullah The Lebanese state told Lebanese in the south: Work with Israel or we will abandon you. The only reason Lebanon wasn't the first Arab state to normalize with Israel is because the Lebanese in the south sacrificed their present and future. Why? Because they want to have an answer when Allah asks on judgement day.
