Israeli attempts to advance toward the center and north of the town of Al-Khiam, under the cover of artillery and phosphorus shelling—aimed at creating a visual barrier screen to protect from ATGM attacks from nearby towns. Bombardment of nearby heights in Al-Qulay'ah, Marjayoun, Aabel al-Saqi, and the outskirts of Debbine took place to suppress such ATGM activity. Unclear if there is any Hezbullah fighter in town.
