Why has the story of a squirrel and raccoon sent people over the edge? Because when a government thinks it has the power to invade your home and kill your pets, it brings the horror of being under the boot of tyrants to life When state 'officials' make a bigger deal about small pets, rather than the dead bodies from war, or rampant crime, or homelessness, or child trafficking, or abuse, or assaults, or open borders, or monetary fraud and/or all other injustices, it breaks the camels back, because people can see the abject cruelty of government killing something totally innocent just because IT CAN, whilst it does sweet FA about all the real problems in society Killing animals targets people’s joy and independent associations and is straight out of the communism playbook The government killed innocent animals in an outward show of the power they think they have over people. And people have snapped Killing Peanut and Fred for no reason is a perfect example of the vindictiveness of 'officials' who think they are the God of everyone else Now people know. If they will do it to animals, they will do it to everyone I hope Peanut and Fred mark the start of the era where enough is really enough
