LightBulb is a free and open source Windows app that automatically adjusts the screen color temperature based on your geographic location (sunrise & sunset times) and manually set times to reduce eye strain while staring at a screen. #Windows#Tools As the day goes on, it continuously adjusts gamma, transitioning the display color temperature from cold blue in the afternoon to warm yellow during the night. Its primary objective is to match the color of the screen to the light sources of your surrounding environment — sunlight during the day and artificial light during the night. LightBulb has minimal impact on performance and offers many customization options, as shown in the attached images. Current support for Windows 7 and higher, better than win10 and win11 built-in color temperature adjustment function. Github Github | Download

Bombshell report claims Apple will allow third-party app stores in iOS 17 If the latest report from Bloomberg is to be believed, Apple is going to dramatically open up the iPhone in 2023. If even half of the changes reportedly being considered come to pass, it will have major implications for how we all use our iPhones (and presumably iPads) in the future. There are other important changes being considered, too. Third-party web browsers currently have to use Apple’s WebKit rendering engine on iPhone and iPad (a restriction that does not exist on the Mac). The company is considering whether it will lift that restriction in iOS 17 to allow Chromium and other browser engines.
