OnePlus has announced it's ditching the Alert Slider for a new Plus Key in its upcoming smartphones for North America! The Plus Key is a customizable button that can perform actions like start a translation or switch sound profiles. It also works with the new AI Plus Mind feature, which saves and organizes snapshots of the screen into the Mind Space app. You can search through these snapshots using AI Search in the launcher. This sounds similar to Nothing's Essential Space, so while it might not be original, I don't see that as an issue - it's a great feature! In addition, OnePlus has worked with the Gemini team to add integrations for the company's Notes and Clock apps. This will be available first on the OnePlus 13s. Lastly, OnePlus' AI suite is getting some new features like AI Reframe, AI Translation, and AI Best Face 2.0.
