A potential danger I've been talking about on the channel for the past couple of years in various forms seems to be coming to pass. They're now using taxpayer money aimed at "ensuring voter participation by direct provision residents and other minority groupings in Ireland" as part of the local elections in June. Can we agree, whatever your political opinion is, that allowing people who have only been in the country for a few months, and who might be here illegally, to vote and then target them with NGOs and taxpayer money, is on every level just wrong? This should be a major scandal. First the gerrymandering to increase the number of three seat constituencies, now this. You can read the article here.
