100 tents cleared along the Grand Canal today but no busses to bring the migrants anywhere. Apparently 89 emails were sent out telling them where their alternative accommodation was. There's now over one kilometer of fencing stretching from Grand Canal Street up to Lesson Street on both sides of the canal. There had been one small patch along Wilton Terrace where the men had been camping but this will be fenced off now as a purely optics based solution as the govt was concerned about the impression the daily tent counts was having on on their key voting demographic. But as the man taking this video recognises, with 400 asylum seekers continuing to arrive each week, the problem will only get worse until asylum seekers are physically removed from Ireland.
