They're trying to gaslight the public that the systematic, widescale mobilisation of foreigners to engage in our electoral system cannot be described as foreign interference and implying that the people correctly identifying it as such are bad actors or conspiracy cranks. Gearóid Murphy made an excellent point on a stream a couple of nights ago: if Russia was bussing huge numbers of military-aged Russian men into towns and villages across Ukraine for them to vote in a referendum on whether the country should be annexed or to elect public representatives, there would be outrage from the so-called international rules based system.
