How I used to smile So many times I've tried to get over you, Baby it's your memories that are holding me back. In my life,how would I even grow? When you've left me so sunken & low. How would I even get healed? When you've made a cut so deep, Lately a good friend has been my pillow, I hold it close to my chest while I try to sleep. Sneaking some happiness in your life, And to erase emptiness from your part, Was all what I ever tried, To see u smile even if I fall apart. Left like a flower kept out from sunshine & rain, Desperately looking out for someone through my window pane. Smile is what I'm faking, You're the someone for whom I've been waiting. Time's rushing by but for me it seems to have paused for a while, Despaired me looks for small reasons just to smile. Atleast for a while, I literally forgot how I used to smile! #review#San#poetry
