SOLITUDE Do they ever look beneath the smile; Broad and warm with life And see the real me; Sad and lost and wandering? Do they? Do they ever listen to what I say, And feel how empty my words are, However full they sound to be? Or is their story all that matters? Do they ever see I'm suffering, Trying hard not to crumble to pieces, And be carried away by the raging waters, To place of no return__ insanity!? If they do, then why NEVER, have they asked; Listened or cared to embrace me And tell me "Everything will be okay"? Do they really care? Or am just an Island, In the middle of an ocean, Where the boats don't dock, And the birds don't nest... Am I an Island of solitude? #review#AI#Poetry
