I lie in bed by night Wondering if I could have Just one feel of the universe Having just one thing working in My favor. I lie in bed by night To feel the war scars across my Heart, war scars I got from Being life's strongest soldier I look on, on how I dived into the trenches of life Head first, and I as a soldier of life I found my way to the war front I look on, on how I was ready to shoot any opponent How I held my gun filled with bullets of love Trying to love my opponent into giving up On their pursuit to ruin me I look on, on how Every duck and dive I omitted Placed me deeper in the trenches of war I gave my opponents more grace I look on, to see how I lost myself in the war How it all started with me losing my mind Then I turned into the scars I would Never inflict on my opponents Now, I lie in bed by night Counting each scar as a step closer To my death. #Review
