🧊 Stop drinking ice-cold drinks with your meals. Here’s why it matters: A study (1988) gave people the same drink twice — once ice-cold (4 °C) and once body temperature (37 °C). Result: The ice-cold version left the stomach significantly slower than the warm one (p < 0.05). That means food sits longer instead of digesting properly → more bloating and that heavy feeling after eating. Your stomach has to warm every drop back to 37 °C before it can even begin processing it. That slows everything down. One study. One link.
