🗣️Former Manger Ange Postecoglou on Tottenham: "There is a big gap between what Spurs say and what they do. The club’s motto, “To dare is to do,” is everywhere, but the club doesn’t actually act with that level of ambition. Tottenham has great facilities: an amazing stadium and top training grounds. But when it comes to spending money, especially on player wages, Spurs don’t behave like a big club. Tottenham has a strict wage limit that they refuse to go past. Because of that, I couldn’t sign some experienced Premier League players. After finishing fifth in my first season, I wanted proven players to push the team higher like Mbeumo, Semenyo, Guehi and Neto. Instead, the club chose teenagers. Those teenagers are very good, but they’re not enough to take Spurs from fifth place to finishing in the top four. Big clubs spend more. Tottenham is a “curious” club, one that talks about competing at the top but makes careful decisions." Do you agree with him? 🤔 @premier🤐
